If you plan to attend the November 17th night vision event, please read the following. 1. Please RSVP by emailing Chance Bingen at mig_one@hotmail.com (PLEASE DO NOT reply to this email, it will get lost in cyber space) and include the number of people in your party and if you are each bringing your own NVDs (Devices) and suppressed firearms, or if you will be sharing, so that we can get an accurate headcount. Note: This event is subject to the Club’s standard guest attendance rules and guests will require sign-in and guest badging as usual. 2. Be advised that there will be limited equipment available for spectators. While spectators are welcome, time on gear could be limited and as such no guarantees can be made. Also note that this will be a lights-out event, with minimal supplemental lighting. 3. Please arrive at the clubhouse by 5pm. 4. While at the clubhouse, we’ll do a short equipment check and go over the plans for the evening. 5. The sun will set at 5:30 pm on November 17th https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/raleigh?month=11 . We hope by that time we will be done with the clubhouse and move out to the range 7 6. Civil twilight ends at 5:55 pm. By this time all shooting should be done with silencers/suppressors. 7. ***If you are bringing thermals please bring some pocket handwarmer/footwarmer packs to mark targets. Depending on your thermal unit, you may or may not be able to see targets very well at range. A few will be on-hand, but not many. 8. ***If you are bringing restricted power lasers (class IIIb) please ensure these are mounted and turned off before arriving at the facility. Class IIIb lasers will be treated as firearms for safety purposes and must be handled in accordance with club firearm safe handling rules. 9. ***Please remember to bring spare batteries. They always die at the worst time and you don’t want to arrive at the event only to not be able to use your kit.
