Overview:

Experimental new match, to have some FUN safely. Will start small while we work out the process and necessary equipment. Come directly down to range 5 at 4:45 for brief so we can start at 5. Should take about 90 minutes to finish.

Members ONLY (with badges)  - no guests or non-members. No exceptions.

2 squads of 20, 4 stages. Ranges 4/5. If you sign up and cannot attend, PLEASE withdraw at least 24 hours in advance.

Time+points for scoring. USPSA and/or IDPA cardboard silhouette targets to begin with.

$10 cash (all proceeds will go back into the match)

Shooting from IWB or OWB holster with trigger covered, no Blackhawk Serpas or similar, pocket, drop leg, or open style holsters. Concealment is optional. Appendix and strong hand belt side are fine. Drawing from any position that will break the 180 or sweep yourself during the draw will not be permitted.

Expect movement. Cover will be required if stage brief says so.

Expect reloads on the clock, at least when stage brief says so.

Required round count per stage will be in the 8-15 range for the first few matches. This may increase as we progress. You should bring at least 2 magazines, or enough for 18 rounds, whichever is higher, and have a way to carry the reloads, preferable on your belt.

Irons and optics divisions to start with. Optics more like carry optics, not open division. No rimfires. This is a casual match, for fun, and hopefully not an equipment race. The gun you carry, the way you carry it, is ideal, but not required.

Would prefer shooters familiar with IDPA/USPSA type pistol matches for the first few matches, although we are not strictly using either of those rule sets at this point.
