80 Shot Highpower Rifle Course of Fire:

20 Shots Offhand in 20 min.

10 Shots Rapid Sitting, from position, in 60 sec. Fired 2 then 8 in 60 sec.  Repeated once for a total of 20 shots.

10 Shots Rapid Prone, from position, in 70 sec. Fired 2 then 8 in 70 sec. Repeated once for a total of 20 shots.

20 Shots Slow Prone in 20 min.

Allowable Rifles - CMP Service Rifle 4.1.1, CMP Alternative Rifle 4.1.2, CMP M14 Clone Rifle 4.1.3, CMP Match Rifle 4.1.5

Ammunition - Any safe ammunition.

50-Shot High Power course of fire (for 8/15/26) match only.

Stage 0 – Sight-in period.  5 shots only. This will be the only sighters you get in this match.

Stage 1 - 20 shots for record slow prone in 20 min. Fired on a MR-52 target.

Stage 2 - 10 shots Rapid Prone, from position, in 80 sec. Fired with a mag change, 2 rounds then 8 rounds. Fired on a SR-42 target.

Stage 3 - 10 shots Rapid Sitting, from position, in 70 sec. Fired with a mag change, 2 rounds then 8 rounds. Fired on a SR target.

Stage 4 – 10 shots standing fired in a time limit of 10 min. Fired on a SR target.

Allowable Rifles (For 8/23 only) - CMP Games rifle Rules 5.2.3 for AR15, 4.2.2 for M1 Garand, 5.2.8(h) for M14 clones.

Ammunition (For 8/23 only) – 5.56mm M193 will be issued and must be used for AR 15 rifles.  .30 cal. and 7.62mm ammunition must be individually supplied by the competitor. 7.62mm ammo must meet M80 specs.  .30 cal. must meet M2 Ball Specs.

Equipment

Required Equipment: Hearing protection; eye protection. Rifle and ammunition.

Highly Recommended Equipment:  It is desirable but not mandatory that each shooter consider Long sleeve shirt and long pants, hat, sunscreen, shooting mat or carpet (about 3′ x 6′), ammo for practice, food and drink.
